ED580 Action Research Seminar
This course is designed as a requirement for students in M.Ed.-only and M.Ed. with Certification
programs. Students must have received written approval from the Academic Director.
Students will refine, implement, analyze/interpret data and present results of their Action
Research Project (the project has an instructional focus and will be in the student?s area
of certification/concentration). Students may choose from a variety of approved research
settings, to include public or private schools, clinical settings, or other previously approved
sites. Pre-Requisite: Successful completion of all coursework, to include student teaching/internship
as appropriate. May be approved to take this course concurrently with Student Teaching/ Internship
in Term II or Term III.
