    Description

This course explores America's Themes & Dreams in the unfolding of the culture, history, politics, heritage and progress that generate the modern U.S. Lately, traditional assumptions demand new testing as we face new questions about American values and struggles. This course will focus on three themes or dreams in three distinct time frames. Texts chosen for input on these aspects of American society operate alongside film and music to highlight important milestones along the way.
