    Description

    MC105 Voices: Raised and Engaged 3 credits
    As effective as they were in addressing the social issues of their times, imagine what Susan B. Anthony and Martin Luther King could have accomplished in a world dominated by social media and mobile technology. In this course, you will explore the social issues of your times and find your civic identity. Then, you will pull your cell phone out of your pocket, aim its camera at the world around you, and start a conversation. You will find and exercise your voice in the public discourse. Addresses GLE Learning Outcomes Social Sciences (SS), Civic Knowledge and Engagement (CE) and Technology Literacy (TL).
