Description
This course emphasizes laws pertaining to students with disabilities. It is mandatory for education majors. Laws covered are IDEA 2004,
N.H. Rules for the Education of Children with Disabilities, Assistive Technology Act, ADA, Section 504, and NCLB. Students work in teams for selected assignments. Course is appropriate for regular and special educators. Prerequisite: ED312 or instructor permission.
